The idea for the shoot was to take Neelam back to her hometown of Coventry and shoot her in her old surroundings where she grew up, a place she’s connected to. We shot her in her own home, around the train station, the city centre and her old school. We wanted to shoot her in the locations of her young teens. The styling was based on the idea of late 90s, Paris and her friends, sporty looks infused with shiny textures and sportswear. – Martin Zähringer
