What were you doing before modelling and do you miss it?
I moved to Sydney this year to study filmmaking and
then got picked up by Kult, which has been incredible. I miss my family and friends but if I spent all my time regretting my choices I wouldn’t get anything done.
What were you like as a child?
I thought I was a wiccan. To the point where my Catholic primary school banned me from anything witch-related. I’d also watch so many movies that my mates weren’t allowed to see so at school I’d tell them about what happened and we’d reenact it like shoot each other or cut off our ears.
What is a band/movie/artist/cool thing you recommend?
My most played bands on my computer are Godflesh and HTRK.
What do you see yourself doing after your modelling career?
Hopefully I will have learnt enough in front of the camera to translate into my own directing and style in films both short and feature length.
What’s one subject you could talk about for at least 5 minutes?
Horror films. Carpenter, Cronenberg, Argento, I don’t care. I’ll talk about them for days.
What’s something in your hometown you think every visitor should do or see?
Lacklustre Records or any other house show. They’re the best gigs Canberra has to offer.
