What’s the best thing you’ve ever done?
I travelled to Iceland a couple of years ago for a geography trip and we went lava tube caving, glacier hiking and swam in geothermal spas… it felt grounding to see and experience the beautiful forces of nature. It’s a geologist’s wet dream 😉
What do you see yourself doing after your modelling career?
Taking the opportunities that I come across on the journey, I want to study political philosophy and then apply that to whatever career I find myself in, it will be involved with music.
What were you doing before modelling and do you miss it?
I was selling sweets at festivals with my girlfriend’s family. You find new music, new people and go on adventures! Such great experiences as you never know what you are going to see, or what opportunities will arise. I was scouted by my agency at Bestival this year too!
What’s the last song that got stuck in your head?
Teardrops by Womack and Womack, the soul possessed my mind and the funk consumed my body.
What’s one subject you could talk about for at least 5 minutes?
Philosophy, it can never bring answers.
What is a band/movie/artist/cool thing you recommend?
I really recommend KAYTRANADA for hip- hop, electronic, jazz and experimental music lovers. His distinct sound is an eclectic mix of genres, main focus being on the hip hoppy baselines, the dreamy synths and off-beat drums. In other respects: Gong, Bonobo, Yak, Hinds, Gengahr, badbadnotgood, Atmosphere, Flying Lotus, Pond, Tom Misch, Kula Shaker, Built to Spill and Sublime cover a few areas in the vast spectrum of sound, always be open to a wide range of vibrations 😛
