Where would you like your modeling career to take you?
I would love an opportunity to travel but for the most part, I am just looking forward to seeing how far my career could possibly go.
Did you already have a clear understanding of the modeling industry or has that changed since you started modeling?
I honestly didn’t think about it too much before I started, I think because my mum was a model I never had that glamorized image of modeling, to me it was just another career. I still have the same mentality now.
As we can see by the way you styled yourself for this shoot, you are creative. Do you have any creative interests besides modeling?
I love drawing and creating things, I have a bunch of sketchbooks with just random doodles and half-formed ideas. I also study art at school.
Your mother was a model working in the 80’s, how does she feel about you doing it now?
She thinks it is a great opportunity for me to start building professional confidence and earn some money while I’m still at school, and possibly combine work and travel when I finish school.
Did she give you any helpful tips?
She does have a few good tips but I think with the rise of social media and just the general changes in the industry, some of the things she experienced aren’t relevant anymore. The best tips she has given me are about the realities of modeling and things like what to bring or wear to a shoot.
