How did you get scouted?
I didn’t get scouted. When I was 7 y.o I saw Americas Next Topmodel for the first time, and I decided that I was going to become one of them. Luckily my genes helped me out with that dream too haha. So 7 years later, when I was 14 y.o., I joined the Elite Model Look competition and got a modeling contract with Elite Copenhagen. It was a very early start (too early to be honest), so I already feel like a Veteran in the business even though I’m only 20.
Where would you like your modeling career to take you?
Well, when you start you dream off as a 7-year-old little girl, you wanna reach the stars; campaigning for Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, etc. It would be amazing to make it to the level where I get to travel more than I have so far. Everyone dreams of seeing the world, being able to do that while earning your paycheck is an incredible privilege. And I’m a very smiling girl so to do the VS fashion show would also be incredible. I have so much respect for those girls, working out like athletes with so much determination and hard work.
What element of your job do you enjoy the most?
Cliché to say, but definitely the people I get to meet. I have friends from all over the world, and I meet new people with every job because you rarely get to work with the exact same team. Travelling, meeting new cultures and new people, is amazing because it changes one’s perspective; you realize that maybe your own problems aren’t that bad or maybe the good things in your life are actually really really good. And of course, the whole “getting to travel” isn’t that bad either, haha.
What do you do when you are not modeling?
Working a “normal” job. I recently stopped modeling full time and have been working at the Louis Vuitton store in Copenhagen instead. The 1st of February I will begin my bachelor in communication, which I’m looking so much forward to – I’m a schoolgirl with a big S.
